Los trabajadores latino americanos en el Reino Unido (LAWAS) sinceramente consternados por la muerte física del Comandante Presidente Hugo Chávez Frías, hacen llegar sus más sentidas condolencias por esta gran pérdida a la familia del Comandante y al pueblo venezolano.
¡Gracias Comandante! Gracias por la gran solidaridad que dio a los pueblos del Abya Yala. Gracias por ser uno de los artífices de instrumentos de integración de nuestros pueblos como el ALBA, la CELAC, la UNASUR y otros, pero ante todo Gracias Comandante por habernos devuelto la dignidad!
Los actuales procesos de cambio seguirán su curso inexorable, no darán ni un paso atrás. Hoy, Todos somos Chávez! Y como tú lo dijiste “A los que me desean a mí la muerte yo les deseo larga vida, para que vean como sigue la revolución avanzando, de batalla en batalla y de victoria en victoria.” Hugo Chávez. Tus ideas están vivas y nos guiarán hoy más que nunca.
¡Los grandes no mueren, los grandes trascienden! Gracias por el legado humanístico de la Revolución.

The Pro-Bolivia Network in Europe (CPB-Europe) deeply saddened by the death of Commandant President Hugo Chavez send their heartfelt condolences on this tragic loss to the family of the Commandant and the Venezuelan people.
Thanks Commandant! Thanks for the great solidarity that you showed to our people and the people of Abya Yala. Thanks for being one of the architects of the instruments for the integration of our people such as ALBA, CELAC, UNASUR and others, but above all Commandant our heartfelt thanks for giving us back our dignity!
The current processes of change will continue their inexorable course, not one step back. Today, we are all Chavez! And as you said "To those who wish me death I wish them a long life, so they can see how the revolution continues to progress from battle to battle and from victory to victory." Hugo Chavez. Your ideas are alive and will guide us now more than ever.

Lanzamiento del 'Bust Card'
El sábado 2 de junio se llevará a cabo el evento de lanzamiento y celebración de la 'bust card'. La 'bust card' es una 'tarjeta' que explica los derechos que tenemos y lo que podemos hacer ante las preguntas de un oficial de inmigración, y en el caso de llevados a un centro de detención.
El evento incluirá el lanzamiento de la 'tarjeta', así como una representación teatro-taller.
Fecha: Sábado 2 de junio
Hora: 2 a 5pm
Lugar: Southbank University

SOLIDARITY MESSAGE OF THE LATIN AMERICAN WORKERS ASSOCIATION (LAWAS) WITH THE NOVEMBER 30th STRIKES
On November 30, members of UCU, Unite, NUT, Unison, GMB unions and many more will be on strike across the UK on the issue of pensions.
As Latin Americans, we learned in our countries that the only way to get governments to respect our right to fair wages, decent work and decent pensions is taking the streets in protest of the government measures against workers and their families.
We are living a very difficult time of economic crisis but we as workers can not carry all the burden, we will not pay for the millions of pounds that the government has used to save the bankers, while others, those who are to blame for the crisis, enjoy themselves as they always have, and is only us, the workers, who have to suffer the consequences.
